electricorchid: The swan orchid (Cycnoches warscewiczii) is an epiphyte, growing on trees and fallen logs. It can sometimes even be found growing on old fence posts! The swan orchid can be found in Central American forests from Costa Rica all the way to Colombia. | + Went to an orchid show today. I got one that is similar, a D. Burano Gold. What I love about orchids is exactly what electric orchid said. It&#8217;s not discriminating, they aren&#8217;t that picky. I love the wildness of them. They aren&#8217;t exclusive. I feel that they grow just as God intended for all plants.
